UHS Volleyball Fights Hard Against the Windsor Jaguars Falling Short of a Win
UHS News would like to acknowledge Sophia Dunnicliff on the Varsity team, for her powerful hits that led to many kills and points in the game. We would also like to acknowledge Josie Woldemar who is one of the liberos on the Varsity team for her digs and passes at Friday night’s game.
Ukiah High Wildcat Volley Faces Off Against El Molino
The Ukiah High School Volleyball team took on El Molino for the second time this week on Friday, April 17th. Although the Varsity fought hard they could not pull out the win against El Molino for the second time. The third match was close; they lost the first three matches which ended the game. Ukiah High School’s Freshman team and the Junior Varsity won both matches.

Coach Stephen Summers, Athletic Director at UHS said this field will be a great addition to the UHS soccer team and the Physical Education department of Ukiah High School.
Pomolita Principal Bryan Barrett Becomes Ukiah High’s New Golf Coach
Coach Barrett says that his dad was the one that influenced him to start playing golf: “He taught me the game and always stressed the mental part of the game. I still value that today.”
Ukiah High School Reopens A Number of Sports to Wildcat Athletes
"This means that starting as soon as February 1st, sports such as boys tennis, girls golf, and cross country will be available to Ukiah High School students. More sports will be available in April and March, such as swimming and track and field in March, and boys golf and girls tennis in April."
