UHS Volleyball Fights Hard Against the Windsor Jaguars Falling Short of a Win

On Friday, April 30, 2021, the UHS Girls Volleyball team took on the Windsor Jaguars for the second time that week. Although all three teams lost, the Junior Varsity team had close games which led them to go to a third match. The Varsity’s scores were 15-25 for the first match, 17-25 for the second match, and 14-25 for the third. 

UHS Volleyball faced off against the Jaguars on Wednesday, April 26th for the first time this season. All UHS teams lost, having the Freshman and JV losing their first two games and the Varsity losing the first three.

UHS Volleyball went against Analy High Tigers on Monday, May 3rd and lost all those matches as well. Analy Tigers have beaten both Cardinal Newman and Windsor volleyball teams that the UHS volleyball team has previously lost to.                                                   

UHS News would like to acknowledge Sophia Dunnicliff on the Varsity team, for her powerful hits that led to many kills and points in the game. We would also like to acknowledge Josie Woldemar who is one of the liberos on the Varsity team for her digs and passes at Friday night’s game.
