Last Friday, October 27, 2023, the Ukiah High Wildcats Varsity Football team celebrated Senior Night and also won first place in the North Bay League. Though they have come close in the past, this year their new coach Paul Cronin led them to an amazing league win for the first time since 1985.

They ended their football season with 7 wins, 3 losses, and overall undefeated in the league.

On November 5, they will find out their next opponent, which will most likely be a home game unless they play against someone in a higher rank.

In the first half, The Wildcat’s defense held Piner causing them to rack up less than 100 yards while on offense.

The final score of the night was 48-28 with Ukiah dominating.

Overall we would like to congratulate the Ukiah High Wildcats Varsity team on their win and wish them good luck at playoffs.
