The Quiet Wildcat Behind the Colorful Ski Mask: Tayo Ramirez Whose Fashion Is Better than Yours

Ukiah High’s Tayo Ramirez might not be the most talkative Wildcat but his bold fashion choice stands out. We spoke with Ramirez about his Bay Area-inspired fashion choices and the world of Babytron hip-hop that motivates him.

Fashion at Ukiah High School is constantly evolving. One year it’s all ladies rocking hoodies and mom jeans, the next they’re all about skinny jeans and crop tops. Boys will rock True Religions one day and Jordans the next.

An individual who stands out is Ramirez, a 17-year-old senior whose style is hard to miss. He’s the super-cool-ski-mask-wearing-guy who has awesome color coordination and the sickest shoes. Definitely, a bold fashion that catches the eye of everyone.

After spotting the daily fits, again and again, it was time to understand where Ramirez’s inspiration comes from and more importantly, where to find these sick clothes.

Ramirez told us that he is influenced by “the Bay Area and Babytron,” who’s a popular rapper and part of an ascendant wave of hip-hop. Ramirez’s clothes come from Cookies, which is now “unfortunately banned at school.” He purchases his streetwear from Dr.Jays, an online clothing store, and Vengeance78, which all sell colorful streetwear styles.

He likes wearing pink and he rocks Jordan 5 Michigan’s. Other than his fashion, Ramirez spends his time playing basketball and Call of Duty. Follow him on Instagram @6roke_boy
