Many Wildcats dream of the opportunity to start their own business and be their own boss. Questions like, what that business would be, how you would keep it running, and what you have to overcome to achieve their dream can hold them back. Not Ukiah High Junior Wesley Duong who is the designer and found of the unisex clothing brand company NBLTY, standing for “Nobility.”

Duong told UHS News he created NBLTY because he wanted to make a streetwear brand that was affordable but yet still high quality. He described NBLTY as featuring a wide variety of apparel in all different colors including hoodies, beanies, t-shirts, sweatpants, long sleeves. Duong said NBLTY recently started making phone cases as well.

Duong mostly promotes his brand through his Instagram @nblty4. Duong said that his biggest help has been his friends Daniel Sandoval and Julio Quinones.

Duong said the hardest part about starting his own business is “finding suppliers with good quality products.”

Duong provided advice to fellow Wildcats on how to start their own business saying, “My tip for fellow Wildcats is to pursue your passion whatever it may be. Don’t give up on what you enjoy doing and what makes you happy.”
