For this edition, we decided to request a theme for the songs sent in, with that theme being sadness. Yes, students sent in their go-to songs of sadness, perfect for a rainy day, or when a playlist full of sad songs is just the perfect fit for whenever mood strikes.

What if death itself had a plan for you, but you escaped? Nothing good comes next, obviously. In this X-Files episode script-turned horror movie franchise, Final Destination has come out with deaths that have successfully prevented people from driving behind log trucks and getting on tanning beds.

The Ukiah High News team has gathered some musical suggestions from Ukiah High students (as well as some from our own news team), with hopes of reaching a broad audience to expand the musical palette of our readers.

Overall, Malcolm and Marie isn’t by any means a terrible film. It’s intriguing, with great visuals and exciting performances, and Levinson’s directing is carefully executed, and among the many flaws the writing contains some form of consistency and structure, but unfortunately suffers from lack of a real focus, it doesn’t really leave much of a lasting impression because as far as I’m concerned, there simply isn’t one to be found.
