Gower told us this year’s case is a murder trial. The defendant, Tobie Clark, is accused of stabbing the chief executive of Sunshine Medical Company with a champagne saber.

Rodrigue told us the scrimmage went well and got both victories in the morning and afternoon trials. Gower added that he was happy the team did well, describing them as strong even with a large amount of new team members.

Gower mentioned Mock Trial is a great experience for anyone interested in pursuing law, or drama, or public speaking. Rodrigue, a new member, also mentioned it’s fun learning a new skill and meeting new people.

Mock Trial’s next scrimmage will take place in Middletown on January 6th, 2024.
