John Livingston is a senior at ukiah high. He loves running,biking and being outdoors. He started a landscaping business. He likes to read and write about crime.
The administration’s main concern for the skatepark is student safety. Administrators and campus supervisors have stationed themselves at every exit in the front of the school monitoring who is coming and going to campus.
Dr. Coren challenged Wildcats to both protect their family and friends from the virus and make sure their loved one are staying mentally fit: “Don't let your friends get depressed, stressed. Many got really disconnected ( and still are) during this pandemic. Reach out to maintain connections figuratively). Be Friendly. but observe the rules -- to help each other.”
Principal Oslund explained that once health parameters are met "morning classes will be held online and the enrichment classes will be placed in the afternoon, on-campus”. Principal Oslund referred to this approach as a “hybrid schedule.” Principal Oslund envisioned the enrichment time as an opportunity for Wildcats to “be allowed on campus for enrichment class and some club activities.”

Ukiah High Wildcats are about a quarter way into the school year, and the seniors of Wildcat Nation are starting to think about life after high school. UHS News wanted to speak with Wildcats who do not plan to attend college and understand what they intend to do for a career.
Keplinger said the only concern holding her back from going to college, “ is the fear of everything that is going on and not being close to home.” Ultimately, she said that “if the option is there, I Would much rather do it in person rather than online!"
