After a long week of passionate competition, Wildcat Nation learned on Friday, October 13th, the Seniors took home the mythic Spirit Bell with a 549-point lead to the 2nd place Freshman.

At the Monday rally in the Tri, some students from each grade sacrificed their clothing in a challenge where they had to dump water into one another’s buckets behind their backs soaking each other in the process.

In the Thursday rally, there was a donut eating contest and the Sophomores took the win. The senior class advisor Mr. Burgmann ate a donut off the ground, if that’s not dedication I don’t know what is! Not only that but the juniors dove into the balloon pop competition taking the lead for the win. The sophomores shocked the crowd with their costumes for the lip sync challenge. The freshman thrills the crowd with an amazing lip sync to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”.

In the Friday Rally, the cheerleaders opened up with a fabulous performance to the songs related to each grade’s theme. Then, the Freshman put on an awesome skit showing that they’re not afraid of no ghosts. The sophomores shocked the crowd with more crazy costumes, such as an inflatable chicken. The juniors made a tribute to the seniors bidding them goodbye. The seniors prominently featured Cannon Johnson showing that he was “Ken-enough” in their skit by gracefully lifting him into the air.

On Friday, October 13th, the seniors took their last ride in the homecoming parade, while the freshmen took their first. The seniors rolled down the street looking pretty in pink. Meanwhile, sophomores showed us the way to dress up in orange for Moana.

UHS News would like to congratulate the Seniors for their hard-fought win, the freshmen for beating the sophomores and juniors, and salute all classes for their spirit.

Below is a breakdown of the scores:
