Morninglight said her musical life has its roots in her family, mostly her father, as he is in a band of his own. Morninglight said music from many different genres influences her musical voice and that can be seen in her Instagram posts, as she covers artists from the pop singer Lorde to Hip-Hop/R&B legend Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Ego Death is flawlessly cohesive all the way through. However, it somehow manages to create unique sounding jams that shift dynamically from track to track while still maintaining the groovy funk sound that’s reminiscent of the legends of Soul that came long before.

With Halloween just around the corner, UHS News thought it appropriate to come up with a list of films that are perfect for this spooky time of year. (Disclaimer-all of these films are on Netflix currently with one of them even being a Netflix exclusive).

Taxi Driver has been a monumental influence in cinema ever since its release, and has made myself view films in a new light, it opened my eyes to what a film could truly be.

What Deceit does best is creating a dark and fearful tone that is tied together with the lyrics and instrumentation, making the record feel consistent and cohesive.
