Rachel Manfradini Becomes the 9th Grade Class’s Treasurer

Rachel Manfredini is Ukiah High School’s new Freshman class treasurer. Manfredini has past experience with student council, is very good at math, works well with other people, and is very organized.

She told us her main goal during her time as treasurer is to focus mainly on sports and dances and making sure they go very well. She has high hopes for this year and is confident that she is great for this position.

Manfradini said she is very much looking forward to homecoming and as excited to work on that in the future.

Owen Sangiacomo is a Junior at Ukiah High School who also attends a lot of Mendocino College Courses. Owen likes to play water polo, he works at the Summer Safari After School Program, and he is constantly learning new instruments. Owen aims to try to improved systems that are flawed and make our community a better place.

The Ukiah High News team would like to congratulate Junior Nicole Muniz and Senior Maritza Jacobs, the dynamic single players of the UHS Tennis team. The duo participated and won 3rd place in the annual doubles tournament at Santa Rosa Junior College on November 1st and 2nd.
